The Is Molas Golf Club was founded in 1975. Boasting 27 holes, the Is Molas golf club is the largest in Sardinia. Thanks to its 27 holes, it is the greatest golf course in Sardegna. The 18 hole championship course, designed by Cotton, Pennick & Partners, has hosted numerous important competitions including four Italian Opens and a European Volvo Master. The shape and width of its greens and bunkers are similar to those found in the USA and its fairways lose their slice. The course is, in fact, considered one of the most technical and spectacular in the Mediterranean area. The ‘90’s saw the completion of the course with 9 holes designed by Franco Piras.
The elegant, well-equipped club house has a bar with a panoramic terrace, a pro-shop and a restaurant - open for lunch and special occasions - specializing in creative Mediterranean cuisine.
Is Molas also houses the Dan Williamson Golf Academy where players can book lessons and golf courses.
