ASR Golf was opened in May 2010 and is located in a unique natural environment in the Sierra de Guadarrama. It is a fun and varied par 71 of 6,328 meters in length, with an impressive design characterized by its integration into its surroundings. A spectacular holm oak forest dotted with imposing rocks is crossed by the deep ravine of the Moros river.

Blake Stirling and Marco Martín have created an entertaining and demanding course in terms of precision, both desirable qualities in golf, without forgetting a touch of randomness as manifested by the two fairway bunkers on hole 2, in homage to the hundreds of "unfair bunkers" that protect golf courses in Scotland.

The course offers multiple play options, with a great variety in the orientation of the holes and their visual control. Its length and challenging design also accredit it for holding international level competitions.
