In the splendid setting of the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort in Mauritius the highly anticipated international final of the Heritage World Cup took place last July.

26 nations faced each other in this 6^th edition of the event in an atmosphere of friendship and fair play. The 52 players from Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania faced each other with the same World Cup format over three days of competition: a crescendo of sporting competition that led Spain to victory (310 points), followed by the French (308) on the second step of the podium and from Indonesia (299) in third place.

The Italian team is placed at 17^th place, with 262 points. The two players representing our beautiful country, Sandro Di Stefano and Fabio Gazzola, qualified thanks to their excellent performances in the Italian Majors and Green Pass Card Trophy tours, which they brought to play and win the final match play held at the Ambrosiano last May.

On the sidelines of the main race, The Invitational took place, a competition reserved for journalists, organizers and accompanying friends, also played on the splendid course of the resort, the Heritage Golf Club, considered one of the best golf clubs in the Indian Ocean, as well as the official home of the Africa Mauritius Open. Excellent position for Italy in this competition, which finished 2^nd in the 1^st category ranking thanks to our Francesco Di Pietro.

At the end of this edition, we want to thank all the players who took part in the qualifying stages, in Italy and in the other participating countries, and the golf clubs that hosted them.

Thanks to the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort, intimate and refined 5-star luxury hotel, where you can wake up to the sound of the Indian Ocean that laps the shore, breathe the scent of the sweet sea breeze and listen to the relaxing melody of tropical birds chirping after a blissful night of sleep, which hosted the group of players and journalists for the 3^rd year and that once again demonstrated the ideal location for an event of this level

The seventh final of the Heritage World Cup will be held from 3^rd to 8^th July 2023 again at the Heritage Resort in Mauritius and with more and more participating nations.
